Hotel group bags Premier locations

A PROPERTY consultancy based in Yorkshire has secured three sites for a national hotel chain.
WSB Property Consultants has acquired the sites in Catterick Garrison, Beverley and Wrexham for Premier Inn.
The three locations will eventually add 220 bedrooms to the chain's offering and create 93 jobs.
Adam Mobley, partner at WSB Property Consultants, said: “The Catterick, Beverley and Wrexham developments represent a further £11m investment into the UK market and are testament to Premier Inn’s continued commitment to source and deliver hotels throughout the region as part of their UK expansion programme."
Premier Inn will open a 60-bedroom hotel as part of the Princess Gate scheme being developed at Catterick Garrison by Lingfield.
In Beverley, Wykeland's £120m Flemingate development will incorporate an 80-bedroom Premier Inn.
Nick Johnston, acquisition manager for Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants, said: "North of the UK continues to be a key market for us due to the region's strong business and visitor economies and these latest deals will help us meet the demand for Premier Inn bedrooms in Yorkshire and take us closer to achieving our national target of 65,000 Premier Inn bedrooms by 2016."
