WSB secures second KFC drive-though

WSB Property Consultants has secured a second drive-through site in as many months for one of KFC’s major franchisee operators, Marsden Caterers of Sheffield.
After acquiring a site and securing planning permission on the Beacon Business Park on Brighton Street in west Hull, Marsden Caterers has completed the purchase of the former McDonald's drive-through restaurant on Beverley Road.
Marsden Caterers will invest around £1m in the property over the next 12 months, creating more than 25 full and part-time jobs for the area.
Adam Mobley, partner of Leeds-based WSB Property Consultants, said. “This opportunity presented itself and we were quick to react to make sure we secured the site, there is a large customer base in the immediate vicinity, which made the site very attractive to our client.
“We currently have a target of 20 towns where we are seeking suitable sites for Marsden Caterers and our client is keen to expand, therefore we have to snap up opportunities like this.”
