Wizu Workspace has confirmed the acquisition of its sixth Leeds-based workspace, 55 St Paul’s Street, making it the largest independent flexible workspace operator in the city.

Leeds commercial surveyor, WSB Property Consultants, represented Wizu Workspace on the acquisition and Sanderson Weatherall acted on behalf of Freshwater Group.

The building is set to undergo an extensive refurbishment, where both the interiors and exteriors will be upgraded.

It will be fitted out with modern amenities and will accommodate 250 workstations over three floors.

Wizu CEO, Tom Almas, said: “We’re thrilled to reveal that we’ll be launching yet another game-changing workspace in central Leeds to attract more leading businesses to the city.

“With the ongoing shift around hybrid working, businesses must offer more than just a space to work; they must provide an inspiring environment that not only attracts talent but also incentivises staff to work collaboratively from the office.

“55 St Paul’s Street has been designed with inspiration and flexibility in mind, exemplified by features such as our ‘hybrid-ready’ meeting rooms and high-tech video conferencing.

“Designed for creative minds, the new workspace will boast uplifting interiors, inspiring meeting rooms, and a vibrant co-working space.”
