Hillview Real Estate has instructed international real estate advisor Savills and WSB as joint letting agents at Sovereign House, in Leeds.

The five-storey building offers 20,555 sq ft of refurbished, grade A office space.

It has undergone a major programme of improvements, which include new shower facilities, raised access floors, secure internal bicycle storage facilities and a modernised reception area.

Originally built in 1862 for The Bank of England, Sovereign House is a prominent Grade II-listed property in the heart of the financial district of Leeds, close to the railway station and the main shopping area.

Patrick Carter, director in the business space team at Savills Leeds, said: “Located in a prime city centre position, Sovereign House offers high-quality office accommodation which embraces the property’s original features and is designed to meet the needs of today’s businesses.

“With the current lack of supply in the city centre this newly-refurbished space is exactly what the market needs.”

Sovereign House was redesigned by architect DLA Design.
