Office space in a newly refurbished building in Leeds has been let to Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in one of the biggest lettings so far this year.
The trust has agreed a deal with property company Pullans to take a seven-year lease on 21,804 sq ft of office space at the 2 Park Lane building.

The building, located on Park Lane and adjacent to the Inner Ring Road, has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment and fit out and provides 50,000 sq ft of grade A accommodation, a new reception area, communal meeting facilities and new double height glazed entrance.

Andrew Gillam, head of property at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, said: "Being able to relocate some 250 colleagues into these new offices is helping us to progress our Building the Leeds Way programme to build a new adults hospital and a new home for Leeds Children's Hospital.
"We are pleased to have found such suitable premises close to the hospital and the city centre offering accommodation with on-site parking. It will allow those teams affected by the development work to be co-located rather than being dispersed across the Trust."

Bruce Strachan, property director at Pullans, added: "We are delighted to have agreed this letting and to be continuing our long-standing relationship with the NHS here in Leeds.

"It is rewarding to know we are helping facilitate Building The Leeds Way Programme to deliver new adult and children's hospitals here in Leeds and aiming to transform healthcare for patients in Leeds and the wider region.

"It is also testament to the significant investment made in the refurbishment and to introducing facilities designed to support the wellbeing of our customers and their employees."
