The property consultancy has acquired premises for boutique operator COACH to open its first facility in the city.

Backed by Dubai-based Select Group, COACH has acquired 385 Kirkstall Road from Asda Stores.

The new gym is expected to create 20 jobs and is expected to be the first of a number of COACH Gyms to be rolled out across the city.

Stuart Perrin, chief executive and founder of COACH, said: "We have taken our time to identify and select the most appropriate location to open our first COACH Gym in the city.

"We are confident there is a strong demand in Leeds for a boutique gym offer, providing state of the art equipment, a wide range of specialist classes, and free on site car parking."

Duncan Senior, partner at WSB, added: "COACH have an aggressive acquisition programme with further gyms required in Leeds during 2020. We are focusing on suburban locations providing easy access and convenience for members."
