Property Alliance Group’s city centre office building, 33 Park Place, has attracted regional solicitors, Ramsdens LLP, for its new Leeds flagship office.

The Yorkshire-based full-service law firm has agreed terms on a five-year lease, taking the whole 4,600 sq ft second floor east wing.
Ramsdens, which has multiple offices throughout the region, is expanding its operation in Leeds city centre as it continues to drive its recruitment and growth campaigns.

Commercial Property, Commercial Litigation, Care, Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence teams will be based at the new office.

WSB Property Consultants and Savills have been acting on behalf of Property Alliance Group since the beginning of the year.

Both 31 York Place and 33 Park Place were purchased by the developer five years ago, with the latter being refurbished into Grade A workspace.
The two buildings share a central courtyard, a 25-space car park, a free tenant gym, cycling provision and shower facilities. The UK Government continues to lease 31 York Place.

Duncan Senior, of WSB Property Consultants, said: “33 Park Place is perfectly positioned in the city’s financial district and provides affordable, high-quality office space suitable for an ambitious firm like Ramsdens.
“High-calibre occupiers are increasingly seeking offices in Leeds with excellent specification and amenities that attract the best talent, all of which 33 Park Place offers.”

Paul Joyce, managing partner at Ramsdens Solicitors, said: “Leeds is a natural location for our organic regional growth, the city is accessible locally but also with its excellent national connection.
“33 Park Place provides new high-quality accommodation with the office provisions and amenities we were seeking, but also being so central within the professional quarter.”

Rob Peill, head of offices at Property Alliance Group, added: “We recognise the investment and growth opportunities for businesses in Leeds and have built long-standing connections and relationships with agents, occupiers and partners to enable a prosperous future for this well-connected city. “We are pleased to have accommodated Ramsdens at 33 Park Place, where they can continue to grow in their new office.”

WSB and Savills will soon be launching two newly refurbished suites of 3,688 sq ft and 4,468 sq ft on the top floor.
