The company which has now been rebranded to Inhabet has been acquired by commercial interiors firm Design Tonic in a deal which looks to expand its portfolio and drive continued innovation within the property sector.

The business has successfully operated within Yorkshire for over a decade and following the deal Alex Jowett continue in his role as MD having been appointed to the role in 2019. It will continue to manage its portfolio of commercial properties which include Munro House and The Leeming Building in Leeds city centre.

Jowett said: “This is an exciting opportunity for the business. My new business partners and I are enthusiastic about the next chapter for Inhabet. Since taking control of the business in 2019, I have been keen to put my stamp on property management and the new investment will not only allow us to expand the business but to continue to innovate our processes and the services we provide to our clients”

Partner of WSB Property Consultants, Robin Beagley added: “The approach from Design Tonic presented an excellent opportunity to dispose of the property management arm and allow WSB to focus on our core business, namely investment, retail and office agency, development consultancy and valuation work.

“Alex has done a great job in growing the property management business and we wish him, and the team at Design Tonic, all the best for the future growth of Inhabet.”
